First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu has extolled the legacy of Late industrialist, Chief Adekunle Ojora , as a devout muslim, who left a legacy of consistently promoting religious harmony in the country.
She made the remark during a condolence visit to the fanily of the deceased in Ikoyi, Lagos.
The First Lady was received by daughter of the deceased, Dr Toyin Saraki and her husband, former Senate President,Senator Bukola Saraki.
“You have always been in my mind and that of the president. We cannot forget him. He was always there with us as a family. This is also my family”.
“We will miss him, his wise counsel, support and great role he played in times past”.
On behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and herself, the First Lady offered words of comfort to the widow of the deceased, Erelu Ojuolape Ojora, who she commended for standing strong as the matriach of the family.
“Your relationship as a couple was an inspiration to many of us. We see you and him and many wish to have that sort of bond”.
Recalling her several encounters with the deceased at church services, despite being a devout muslim, the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu says the family has a lot to be proud of in the legacies of the late Otunba of Lagos, who not only distinguished himself as an industrialist but also as a promoter of religious harmony in words and deeds.
The visit was applauded by members of the Ojora family, led by the matriach, who prayed for the success of President Bola Tinubu and his wife.
Late Chief Adekunle Ojora died on January 28, 2026 at the age of 93 and has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
